From New Year's Eve with the "bombona", a sweet focaccia symbol of good wishes and affection, to Carnival with "grostoli" (fried pastries) and "grafons" (fried sweet ravioli), to the battles of coloured hard-boiled eggs at Easter, every occasion has its rituals. But it is summer that is the real protagonist of taste with festivals, fairs, farmers' markets and folk gatherings, where Ladin cuisine becomes an experience, a sharing and an encounter.
