Experience the life of a herdsman at sunrise, in wonderful locations such as Sasso Piatto, Contrin and Val Jumela. There are three appointments, in the summer, in three mountain refuges, where you can spend the night, and three farmhouses/dairies where you can look after the cattle at dawn. The reward? The most genuine breakfast of your life.
Nothing will ever be the same after a dawn on an alpine pasture. The cowbell will be an irresistible call: you'll want to jump out of bed at 5:30 a.m. in search of a pasture to herd the cattle, you'll long to drink only freshly milked milk, and you'll look at the first rays of sunlight with adoring eyes. These are some of the "side effects" - the worst is that you'll never want to come down from the pasture again - of one of the most fun adventures to be had in Val di Fassa.
