Val di Fassa Cooking Class
Do you really want to get to know Val di Fassa? Take part in one of the events of the new exhibition dedicated to local cuisine: in each cooking class, scheduled from June to September, you will learn the secrets to prepare, to perfection, some of the most renowned dishes of the Ladin tradition based on local ingredients.
Cooking Class - Special Edition: you will find yourself in special places, from the Sass Pordoi, to the Alpe Lusia, to characteristic agritourism locations at the bottom of the valley, for cooking with a view. Step by step, a famous home chef will be there to guide you through a traditional recipe by Elena Vian. Elena, born and raised in Vigo, has worked in several restaurants, including some Michelin-starred ones, before embarking on her career as a private chef in several luxurious residences and for some VIPs. The Fassa-based cook will teach you how to prepare canederli, strudel, kaiserschmarren and other delicious dishes.
Cooking Class at Osteria da Carpano: here you will experience the atmosphere of the restaurant. At the head of the temporary team is the chef of the Osteria who, with his expertise, will give you the right advice to make the typical dishes of Val di Fassa. Pay attention to all the processes, techniques and details, so once you are back at home, you can offer your family and friends a restaurant-level dish, or rather... a dish from the Osteria!
Choose from the many summer events, spread over several weeks. Each culinary event has a minimum of 5 participants up to a maximum of between 10 and 20 people, depending on the location.
