Slope and lift details
To reach the Costalunga Pass by car or ski bus service, start from Vigo di Fassa and follow the "Grande Strada delle Dolomiti" towards Bolzano. This historic road was inaugurated on 13 September 1909.
The Carezza ski area, located between Trentino and Alto Adige, extending to Nova Levante and Nigra Pass, faces the South and is exposed to the sun from morning till late afternoon.
It is characterized by 13 ski lifts, 40 km of slopes equipped with 170 snow cannons, 18 mountain refuges where skiers can enjoy pleasant breaks, 1 snow park, 2 family fun parks especially dedicated to children, 2 playgrounds in the snow (kinderland), 2 thematic ski runs for the youngest (ski lift "Nani" and King Laurin’s Legends course), 1 toboggan run, 1 slope exclusively reserved to ski clubs and ski teams served by the cabin lift "König Laurin II".
The top slope in the ski area is the "Pra di Tori", which is the venue for the annual parallel snowboarding World Cup race.
This is the ideal resort for families and for all those who, ski-off (alpine and cross-country), would like to rest, relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery of the Dolomites. We are in the legendary area of the so called "Regno di Re Laurino" (King Laurin’s Kingdom), at the feet of Catinaccio, Roda de Vael and Latemar.
Every day, at sunrise and sunset, these peaks offer the wonderful spectacle known as "Enrosadira" (Ladin word for "Alpine glow"), the natural phenomenon colouring the mountains in the most intense shades of orange and purple.
