From Pozza you can take the gondola to the Buffaure, which has pistes almost all of medium difficulty, except one: the fearsome black piste known as "Vulcano". It offers thrillseekers the challenge of a 566 m altitude drop. For the less experienced there are pistes like the "Panorama", which from the Buffaure Refuge down to the beginning of Val San Nicolò and to the lift’s departure station. An interesting option is the track that from Col de Valvacin, descends to Val Jumela, pass over the Sella Brunéch to get to the neighbour area Ciampac (Alba di Canazei).

Buffaure Snowpark is the right meeting point for riders, suited for freestylers of each skill.

In Pozza, the Aloch Ski Stadium with its black slope gets brightly illuminated for skiing at night. It is a real ski stadium having a length of 1600 m and an altitude drop 309 m, with an average gradient of 27%. "Aloch" piste hosts the national downhill ski team training sessions, European Ski Cup races and many top level winter sport competitions.

Another access point to the ski area is from Alba di Canazei. The gondola takes skiers up to Ciampac, a natural viewpoint over Marmolada, Sella and Pordoi. The "Ciampac" is one of the most famous and exciting black slopes in Val di Fassa. It is a very technical run, about 2.2 km long with an altitude drop of 660 m and a steep descent to the village. Thanks to the lift connecting Alba to Col dei Rossi, you can ski further to Belvedere, Col Rodella and enter the amazing Sellaronda.

On both sides of the ski area, there are well-equipped field schools and playgrounds for children.
