Pozza di Fassa

Facing the Vajolet Towers, Pozza is dominated by the Monzoni and Buffaure mountains (2000 m), which are ideal for scenic hikes in summer. In winter, you can take a cable car from the centre up to Buffaure, where you'll find lots of ski trails and access the Sellaronda. In the town centre, you'll also find the Aloch Ski Stadium, a training centre for Italy's national alpine ski team.

Where well-being is at home

The town of Pozza di Fassa (1320 m above sea level) joined the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa in 2018. It is dominated by the Cima Undici (2507 m), Cima Dodici (2446 m) and the majestic Vajolet Towers (2812 m).

Pozza is famed as a place for well-being and relaxation. One of its characteristic features is the Aloch sulphur spring, the only one of its kind in Trentino. Its thermal waters are used in skin care treatments at many local wellness centres. Try the treatments for yourself the Terme Dolomia, the QC Terme Dolomiti or at the Aquapark Vidor.
If you love the Dolomites, you simply must visit Pozza di Fassa. Be amazed by the beautiful Val San Nicolò, dotted with meadows, mountain huts and barns.

In winter, the village offers the Buffaure Ski Area, which boasts one of the longest slopes in the Valley. The cable car also offers unforgettable views of the Catinaccio and Sassolungo Group.

A special attraction of this small town is the Aloch Ski Stadium, an alpine ski training centre whose slopes are the venue for international ski competitions. This facility is the only one in the Dolomites to be reserved (during the day) as a training centre for the Italian national ski team and world champion athletes; it is also a federal training centre.
If you love skiing at night, the slope is illuminated two nights a week. Put your skills to the test on the black slope or on others with less challenging height differences.
Pozza di Fassa also offers a fantastic experience for cross-country skiers, as it gives access to the Marcialonga circuit and the Ciancoal ring.

Also famous for its summer excursions, in Pozza di Fassa you can take peaceful walks down the valley, perfect for the whole family. Alternatively, there are high-altitude trails, if you're looking for more adrenaline-pumping experiences on the rocks of the Vajolet Valley and the Monzoni peaks.
