With the group of the Sassolungo in front, those of the Sella and the Marmolada on the sides and behind the Venetian Dolomites, this alpine refuge is an oasis for sight as well as taste.
The Sass Becé Refuge is located in one of the most scenic places in the Dolomites. On sunny days, especially in spring, you can sit at the tables on the terrace, and in the stiffer ones in the inner room, from whose large windows it seems to touch the tops with a finger. Once seated, focus on the gastronomic proposals to delight the palate and replenish your energy. At Sass Becé, Italian cuisine goes for the most part with great classics such as pasta, with different condiments, meats, always excellent along with hot vegetables and salads. There is no shortage of local dishes, from polenta with melted cheese and mushrooms, to eggs with speck and potatoes. The pizza that is prepared and cooked on the fly is highly appreciated, even in the version for celiacs, to be enjoyed steaming and fragrant. Many desserts, starting with the traditional strudel. All accompanied by Trentino and national wines.
