Lying on the rock, at the foot of the legendary Vajolet Towers, the refuge, open only in the summer, is a mecca for mountaineers and hikers.
A reference point also for the kind welcome of the owner Valeria Pallotta, able to put guests at ease, especially when they sit at the table. The recipes, prepared with ingredients as fresh as possible and from the territory, thanks to constant supplies with which the refuge is supplied, are the tastiest of the Ladin, Tyrolean and naturally Italian tradition. Canederli, polenta cooked in a copper pot and tasty desserts such as apple strudel, carrot cake, Linzer cake and Kaiserschmarren stand out in this homemade cuisine. The bar and restaurant are always open and, to satisfy mountaineers, you can count on a hot dish even in the afternoon, when you choose from the proposals of a reduced menu.
