The most complete private collection of minerals to admire the hidden treasures of the Dolomites up close.
They have beautiful colours and sparkle in the sun like diamonds: the mountains of the Fassa Valley conceal a precious deposit of minerals and fossils. It was precisely from the research of these, in the volcanic areas of the Dolomites, by Tone Rizzi Poldin, that the Monzoni Mineralogical Museum was born. The exhibition offers the opportunity to admire over 200 varieties of minerals - including quartz, agate, monzonite, fassaite and cornelian - in a charming renovated barn.
How to get there
The museum, in Strada de Pilat, can be reached on foot from the Pieve di San Giovanni or by car, with free parking nearby.
