Just outside the centre of Moena, the Malga Roncac restaurant is ideal for those looking for a romantic atmosphere and fine dining.
The couple of young owners, Christian Tasser (chef) and Elisabeth Pichler (table service), literally spoil their guests with dishes with a sincere flavor and specialties of which they are proud such as snails and meats. Also worth tasting are fish appetisers, speck (locally produced), side dishes, with zero-kilometre vegetables, risottos, gnocchi seasoned with game ragout and much more. There is also no shortage of vegetarian and celiac proposals. The wines are regional and international, while the craft beers. Malga Roncac, which can be reached by a pleasant walk from the centre of the village to the edge of the woods (but also by car), is in a panoramic position. Moena and its peaks can be easily admired both in the large garden and from the outdoor tables, in summer, and from the veranda and the rooms inside, furnished with style.
Reservations are welcome at the restaurant, which is open for most of the year.
