L Malghèr is the gastronomy shop par excellence in Val di Fassa with its own specialties and many typical products.
Their story begins in 1921 when Giuseppe Dellagiacoma, from Predazzo, moved to Pozza to open a private dairy, buying milk from the country's farmers and working it to obtain cheese and butter. In 1961, his son Luigi inherited the business and continued it with his family until 1987, before devoting himself entirely to cattle breeding. In 1987, her daughter Linda and her husband Josef took over the shop and decided to turn it into an authentic taste shop, without the processing of milk. The offer expands: next to the cheeses, more than 100, there are many specialities of its own production and a rich selection of typical Trentino products. Attention to the choice of raw materials, authentic flavours, recipes handed down from grandparents, craftsmanship techniques and passion for their work are the ingredients that are found with every taste. What to buy? You'll be spoilt for choice: canederli, green and white spätzle, ravioli, ciajoncie from fighes or with spinach, potato gnocchi, fresh pasta, pandolce, pizza, focaccia, bread, strudel, homemade cakes and tarts, brioches, krapfen, Christmas biscuits, grostoli, grafons, apple fritters and mignon pastries. Any advice? Arrive early!
They are available for buffets, small refreshments and even cakes for any occasion.
