Architect and ski instructor from the Fassa Valley, Katiuscia Rasom has an irresistible attraction for the woods that led her to become a guide at Forest Bathing.
The aspect that is most focused on during the forest bath, thanks to the observation of nature, is letting go of the daily thoughts that crowd the mind. Katiuscia helps to pull the plug, because each of us needs to remove from the mind those thoughts that are constantly repeated. During the walk in the woods, it invites you to grasp those aspects that are not normally noticed. "My role, in the woods, is to help people distance themselves from everyday life, which involves great energy, but it is very rewarding: it is nice to participate in the feelings that people share during the experience."
Slowing down, especially the mind, takes time, which is why forest bathing takes three hours of practice. "It is structured so that those who experience it, first, are aware of every part of their body and their senses, then, perceive nature and finally share their emotions and then slowly leave the woods. The exit is usually unfortunate, because the size of the forest for men is atavistic. Suffice it to say that the human eye perceives many shades of green, a sign that we have evolved, over millions of years, among plants and trees. "
Katiuscia practices Forest Bathing in all seasons and with different formulas. You can participate individually, request a couple's forest bath and also at night.
