"Fraina" toboggan slope

A track of about 2 km that winds along a slope untouched by the Bellamonte-Castelir ski slopes, amidst silent fir and larch woods.

Once you reach the starting point of the Castelir-Bellamonte ski lifts by car, on the southern slope of Alpe Lusia, take the first section of the "Le Fassane" gondola lift with panoramic views of the Lagorai chain. The descent begins at an altitude of 1,788 m and covers a difference in altitude of 235 m in about 5 minutes. The natural track, milled daily, goes in and out of the forest, letting you savour the silence of nature - interrupted by the laughter of the tobogganers. At speed, you tackle curves, straights, bumps and more or less marked inclines. Beware of icy stretches. Do not stop and pause in sections with reduced visibility. 

You can take the gondola lift with your own sledge, provided it complies with the regulations, or you can rent it on the ground floor of the Castelir Service, opposite the start of the lift. The ski pass is also valid for the ascent. Alternatively, you can purchase a day pass, afternoon pass or race pass. Helmets are compulsory for persons under 18 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

And after the descents, yes because one is definitely not enough, the children can play in the various parks available to them, while the older ones relax in the sun on the terrace of a hut sipping a warm apple mulled wine.
