This picturesque sightseeing train, which during the winter connects the centre of Canazei to the ski lifts, in the summer months is ideal for visiting the villages between Campitello and Penìa.
During your holidays, there’s no need to use your car, thanks to buses, taxis and sightseeing trains that connect the valley’s villages. From late June to mid-September, a ride on the colourful Fassa Express train of Canazei becomes an experience not to be missed, especially for children. While comfortably seating in a wagon, you can reach Campitello, Alba and Penìa, travelling along alternative roads as well. There are two lines departing from the square in Canazei: the first route crosses "Cercenà’s" plain and, running along "Avisio" stream, arrives in Campitello, village centre and "Ischia" sports area. The second one goes towards Canazei’s hamlets instead, with stop at the playgrounds in Alba and Penìa. Since you’re there, you can also visit one of the highest villages in Trentino and the Venetian sawmill.
Winter route: B&B Centrale > Hotel La Campagnola > "Belvedere" lifts > "Piaz G. Marconi" square > Hotel Oswald > B&B Centrale. Access with ski bus ticket.
