In the historic centre of Canazei, behind the small church of San Floriano, is the Valentini wine shop. For more than 60 years it has been one of the best-known shops in the valley when it comes to typical products.
It was founded in the 1950s as a fruit and vegetable shop in the heart of the village. Over time, there is also a small corner used as a wine shop with a first selection of Trentino wines, destined to expand quickly. So much so that, in the early 2000s, the shop became a specialised wine shop with over 800 labels, to which was added a department entirely dedicated to the typical food specialities of Trentino and South Tyrol. Edith, Sergio - guide and expert mountaineer - together with their sons Stefan and Christian try to convey the love for their land and to offer you only the best products it offers. It is impossible not to take home anything as a souvenir of your holiday in the mountains and, in order not to run out, you can also buy them online.
In summer they organise tasting days outside the restaurant. Next door, possibly accessible from the same point of sale, is the wine bar, open from December to April.
