Go up the picturesque Val San Nicolò to the waterfalls, formed by the springs of the eponymous stream, in front of a characteristic wooden hut. The large outdoor space is equipped with tables, benches, umbrellas and deckchairs that invite you to take a well-deserved break. The view sweeps over the flowering pastures, in the background the Buffaure Alps with the Maerins, while the horizon is crowned by the peaks of the Catinaccio. The interior room is warm and welcoming, the Tyrolean furnishings and fabrics reflect the mountain climate, as well as the bar counter made with reclaimed wood from old barns. Typicality rules the table: hearty dishes, with strong flavours, cooked as tradition dictates. What to order? Don't miss the polenta, served with shin, roe deer stew or sausage.
