Erika Brunel, fourth generation of Malgari, transforms an ancient rural complex on the edge of the forest into a bio-sustainable agriturismo in local rock and wood that reduces energy waste and CO2 production.
In a secluded position with respect to the village, the agriturismo, once accessible only on foot, is surrounded by meadows and forests with exceptional views of Soraga, Moena and its peaks. The environment has been designed to ensure respect for the environment and the well-being of people. Acoustic insulation and air quality are guaranteed by Dolomia stone and pine-scented wood. The cuisine proposed is that of the peasant tradition that follows the seasons and uses km0 products: farmed meat and cured meats just as well as milk and cheeses, eggs from the chicken coop and vegetables from the vegetable garden. The main course? Malga Piè dish: Storo polenta, mushrooms, grilled cheese and sausage, accompanied by a good craft beer. Waiting to sit at the table, you can relax in the garden or cool off on the outdoor patio with a nice glass of spring water, flavoured with elderflowers.
Inside, a cave has even been carved into the rock for the maturing of cheeses and cured meats.
Pets, small and medium-sized, welcome.
How to get there
The agriturismo can be reached by car or on foot, following the easy walk that connects Soraga-Palua to Moena-Col dei Soldai.
