Ciampedie - Malga Vael - Rifugi Roda di Vael e Baita Pederiva - Rifugio Paolina (Carezza)

The hike connects the natural balcony of the Ciampedie with the Roda di Vael and Baita Pederiva huts. It continues along the scenic path (Hirzel-Weg), where the large bronze eagle dedicated to Theodor Christomannos is located.

1. "Vial da le feide" (sheep path), from Baita Pra Martin Refuge to Roda di Vael Refuge
2. take the hiking trail no. 548, just beyond Baita Marino Pederiva Refuge, on the left. You will be back to the pass in 1.45 hour, beside Hotel Savoy
3. walk down from Paolina Refuge without taking the chairlift, along path no. 552

The route, which is best tackled in the opposite direction, is suitable for families with children (from 8 years of age) and can be walked with a baby carrier/backpack.
