This is the only excursion route to the Re Alberto Refuge and the fairy-tale "Gartl" basin, one of the most evocative and well-known places in the Fassa Dolomites, at the foot of the legendary Vaiolet Towers. Only the route from Gardeccia to Vajolet Refuge is suitable for families with children; the path is walkable with toddler-carrier/backpack too.
