This route is challenging in the initial and final sections, due to both the gradient and the ground. The tour leads to Contrin hut, at the foot of Marmolada’s southern wall. The path is heavily used by pedestrians. Attention: the stretch between Alba and Mèlga Cianci is served, during the months of July and August, by a shuttle service (jeep). Free grazing animals.
