Thanks to the excellent exposure and the soft slopes, this panoramic ski area at the foot of the Latemar and Catinaccio is particularly popular with families and beginners.

In total, the downhill slopes with scheduled snow cover 40 km, alternating between blue and red and black tracks. The area has 14 modern lifts: 7 ski lifts, 5 chairlifts and 2 cable cars. Alpine, cross-country and freestyle skiing are the most popular sports, but the area offers much more. If from the Pauline refuge or from the Fronza to the Coronelle the vision of the fairy towers of the legendary "Rose Garden" of King Laurino seems magical, it is even more so when you approach it little by little with snowshoes at your feet. Also not to be missed are the fun toboggan rides on illuminated slopes even in the evening.

The ski area, easily accessible by car or skibus from Vigo di Fassa, extends to Nova Levante and the Nigra Pass. The presence of a baby park guarantees a thousand white adventures even for the little ones.

The pass develops on a wide grass saddle set between the slopes of the Latemar group and the ends of the Catinaccio. From here you can admire the unforgettable Enrosadira at sunset, the phenomenon whereby the peaks of the Dolomites first turn red and then purple.
