After the World Enduro and E-Enduro Championships, in 2025 Canazei confirms its status as a prime destination for the world’s best riders, hosting the 9th stage of the top international circuit
WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series 2025: 16 race weekends, 18 stages across 10 countries, including 8 Gravity rounds. Italy cements its status as a powerhouse in the Enduro World Cup, hosting 3 out of 8 rounds on the calendar. The season kicks off in Pietra Ligure, before heading to Canazei from 27 to 29 June, which returns to the spotlight after hosting the 2024 Enduro and E-Enduro World Championships, before passing the baton to Val d'Aosta in July.
The Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series, organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports, represents the pinnacle of off-road racing. Enduro has evolved over the past decade, but in Val di Fassa, its DNA remains unchanged: technical, physical, and relentless. Here, every meter of trail is a test of skill and endurance - steep descents, brutal climbs, and technical sections that push even the most experienced riders to their limits. The race takes place in the Fassa Bike District, nestled at the foot of the Sella, Pordoi, and Marmolada massifs, spanning the Ciampac (Alba di Canazei), Belvedere (Canazei), and Col Rodella (Campitello) areas. As per regulations, route details and final variations will only be revealed a few hours before the start, adding an extra layer of uncertainty and adrenaline to the competition. What’s certain, however, is that "Titans", "Infinity", and the legendary "TuttiFrutti" trail will be the most iconic, challenging, and decisive stages on the road to the podium. The world’s top riders, in both the men’s and women’s categories, will battle for the title over five intense special stages, covering around 40 km with a staggering 3,000 meters of vertical descent.
Spectators will be fully immersed in the action, with a packed schedule of side events and easy course access via gondolas, cable cars, and chairlifts, offering breathtaking trackside views of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The heart of the event will be the "Ciasates" area, near the Dòlaondes Aquatic Centre, featuring the race village, team paddocks, and expo area, just steps away from the Canazei-Pecol cabin lift, a key gateway to the competition.
All the ingredients for an unmissable show are in place: elite teams and riders, head-to-head duels decided by mere hundredths of a second, massive team trucks with top mechanics in action, leading brands from the bike industry, and, of course, a world-class track winding through the legendary trails of the Fassa Bike District. The event also stands out for its commitment to sustainability, earning the Eco Eventi Trentino PRO certification - a concrete effort to minimize environmental impact and engage athletes, spectators, and partners in eco-friendly initiatives.
The countdown is on. Canazei is ready to write a new chapter in the history of enduro.
