A choir performs in the scenic natural amphitheatre of the Ciampedie for the ninth edition of the "Il Canto Incantato" festival
In the afternoon, in the enchanting natural amphitheatre of the Ciampedie, the concert "L’eco del bosco - The echo of the forest" will be held as part of the ninth edition of "Il Canto Incantato - The Enchanted Chant". Organised by the mountain lift company "Catinaccio", the event is free of charge, but participants are responsible for the cost.
This high-altitude event offers a unique opportunity to appreciate music from a stage of rare beauty. The group's carefully selected repertoire includes a variety of pieces that celebrate the magnificence of the Dolomite landscape and its connection to local culture. The harmonies will resound amidst the peaks of the Catinaccio, transporting the audience on a truly emotional sound journey.
Welcome to Ciampedie, a panoramic upland over Val di Fassa in the Dolomites, which can be reached from Vigo by elevator and cable car or from Pera by chairlift. From its 2,000 metres, in the centre of the hollow of Catinaccio, you can see the mountain chains of the Sassolungo and Sella, the Marmolada, the Sasso Vernale, the Creste di Costabella, Buffaure, Monzoni and the Valaccia. In the distance, the Group of the Latemar, the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai. Ciampedie is the main entrance to a rich number of excursions with well-signalled paths and tracks of any kind. But it is also the ideal location to spend some hours of relaxation.
