An experience that allows you to rediscover the history, the hard work and the ingenuity of those who, for generations, have transformed the fruits of the earth into precious flour
The only one of its kind, the "Molin de Pezol" is the last remaining testimony in the valley of the age-old art of milling. Here time seems to have stood still: between the sound of the flowing water and the noise of the moving millstones, you can immerse yourself in the life of the past and discover the secrets of this ancient craft. During the guided tour, you'll be able to admire the three large water wheels and the perfect mechanisms driven by the force of the water through the channels. You'll see the barley sifter and the two grain grinders in action: an ingenious system, dating back to the 19th century, that still works today as it always did.
Timetables: on Thursdays at 5 p.m. (duration about 1 hour). Mandatory phone reservation at the Ladin Museum by 12 noon on the same day.
