Skiing with an explosive feeling
The energy here is palpable - you can feel the explosive vibe, just like the ancient volcano that lends this slope its name. Starting at 1,922 metres, the slope quickly turns technical, with a series of steep walls and gradients reaching up to 58%. All the while, the breathtaking, untamed panorama of Cima Undici and Cima Dodici serves as your constant companion. Towards the end, the slope softens, guiding you smoothly back to the village of Pozza.

Technical information
Inaugurated in 2014, the Vulcano slope at Buffaure truly lives up to its "explosive" name. After sharing the initial section with the red "Panorama", the slope veers sharply to the right, launching into a 2 km-long direct descent with an impressive 566 m vertical drop, swiftly returning to the gondola departure station in "Meida". Starting at 1,922 m on Buffaure, this highly technical slope is designed exclusively for experienced skiers seeking an exhilarating challenge. With average gradients of 30% and peaks of 58%, it features steep, demanding walls that will test your skills to the limit.
