Balance between speed and inclines
Picture this: on one side, the southern face of the Marmolada; on the other, the Pale di San Martino. All you can think about is launching yourself downhill. Do it right away and savour that sense of balance that drives you, technique and instinct, as you speed over 50% gradients on the "Alberto", "Manfroi" and "Del Poeta" walls. The final rush leaves you with a smile on your face - you have just finished the slope that is the stage of races and training for Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia and other World Cup bigwigs.

Technical information
The San Pellegrino ski area slope is fast and technical, starting at the 2,480 m on Col Margherita and descending to 1,880 m at the Dolomite pass. Spanning 2,400 m in length with a 600 m vertical drop, it promises an exhilarating challenge. The slope isn’t entirely new: the first section runs parallel to the slope leading to Lake Cavia before bending towards the pass and reconnecting with the Col Margherita slope. Just before this turn, the black La VolatA section begins, featuring gradients as steep as 50% (with an average of 30%), ending in a thrilling final rush through a fairytale-like forest. For the best experience, take a moment to pause on the terrace at the top of the cable car and admire the breathtaking views of the Pale di San Martino and the surrounding peaks before beginning your descent
