Balance between speed anda Scia in equilibrio tra velocità e pendenze
You are there, on one side the south face of the Marmolada and on the other the Pale di San Martino, and all you want to do is launch yourself downhill. Do it right away and savour that sense of balance that drives you, technique and instinct, as you speed over 50% gradients on the Alberto, Manfroi and Del Poeta walls, and arrive at the final rush with a smile on your face: you have just finished the slope that is the stage of races and training for Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia and other World Cup bigwigs.

Tecnical informations
The San Pellegrino Ski Area slope is very fast and technical, starting at the 2,480 m of Col Margherita and leading up to the 1,880 m of the Dolomite pass, for a total length of 2,400 m and a 600 m difference in altitude. A piste that is not completely new: indeed the first part runs parallel to the slope leading to Lake Cavia and then bends towards the pass and reconnects to the Col Margherita. Shortly before the change of direction, the section of the black La Volata begins, with maximum gradients of 50% (and average values around 30%), with a final rush through a fairytale-like forest. Since the descent must be tackled all in one breath to admire the spectacular panorama on the Pale di San Martino and towards the peaks framing the pass, it is advisable to stop for a few minutes on the terrace at the exit of the upstream cable car.
