Focus on skiing in a fairytale forest
The appeal of this slope is very strong. After the initial embrace of the peaks from Piz Boè to Crepa Neigra, it plunges into a zigzag path through the forest, descending almost in a freefall to Alba di Canazei. Right from the first wall, you understand what it – or rather, snow – is made of: you start to become familiar with it, feel how your body glides, imparting the right pressure on the snow to overcome slopes of up to 56%, and then let yourself slide on the finish in a wide curve that comes out of the forest and leads to the ski lifts.

Technical information
It's a tough black, with a width of 40 metres and an exposure that maintains excellent compact snow conditions throughout the winter. A panoramic cable car takes you from the centre of Alba to the top station of Ciampac in just a few minutes. You are immediately dazzled by the spectacular scenery of the Sella, Sassolungo and Marmolada ranges, before tackling the abrupt descent of over 2 km, with a difference in altitude of 643 m, which puts the legs of the most experienced skiers to the test with a succession of thrilling walls. The final section softens slightly with a wide bend, still in the forest, before the final schuss.
