This tour allows you to warm up your muscles on the cycling and walking route up to Mazzin. From here, you’ll head south and touch the panoramic hamlet of Muncion and, shortly after, deviate on the dirt road towards Gardeccia.
enlogia Ruf" to the right and follow it skirting the course of the river. Cross the bridge on the left and, after a short stretch on dirt road, cross another walkway over Avisio river. Turn right on the cycling and walking route, towards Canazei. Once reached the bridge giving access to the village of Mazzin, cross it and go up "Strèda de Chiavacia". Turn left on "Strèda de Col da Chieve" and then take the dirt road that, with moderate and well-distributed gradient, leads to the hamlet of Muncion. At the first houses of "Ronch" ("Strada del Cuch"), follow the trail sign no. 579, going slightly uphill for about 1 km, before taking the forest road that flanks L'Aut da Muncion and pops up in "Soal" area. Briefly follow the paved road to Gardeccia. Now turn left. The dirt road connects you to the ski slope, which you’ll climb. From "Pian Pecei", head to the right and proceed in the forest. At the junction, keep to the right and continue towards Gardeccia (Sentiero delle Leggende). Return along the same route, up to the junction to Pera. Frome here, continue on the track passing under Vajolet chairlift. Go down "Strada Tita Piaz", cross the main road and take "Troi G.F. Bernard", then turn left on "Strada Jumela". Skirt Avisio river and return to Meida through the cycling route.

The section between "Pian Pecei" and Gardeccia is heavily used by hikers and families with children. It is not recommended to follow the municipal road to Gardeccia.
