The Rifugio Cima Eleven, at the foot of the Marmolada, welcomes you to the large panoramic terrace, where the mountain is the protagonist and good food helps you experience it in the most authentic way.
Steep walls, pinnacles, bell towers, perennial snow and karst systems are unique spectacles that are remembered for a lifetime: this is the view that awaits you from Rifugio Cima Eleven, at Passo Fedaia. Admire the Marmolada, the Vernel with the Roda di Mulon and all the ridges, from the Belvedere to the Padon, which hold the testimonies of the Great War. And under the shelter, of course, the enchanting Lake Fedaia. The cuisine offers the best of Trentino and Ladin tradition with dishes all to savour, including soups, homemade mushroom noodles, polenta, roe stew, pork shank and sauerkraut. If you want to have a quicker meal or simply stop to sip a drink, the property has a small bar room with a cozy stube, where you can also spend carefree evenings in company.
From the refuge you can reach Punta Penia, the trenches of the Padon, the Viel dal Pan, as well as visit the Museum of the Great War. You will thus be able to relive one of the most dramatic events in history, told through the exhibition of hundreds and hundreds of artifacts from the mythical Ice City.
