The recently renovated refuge is a real gem in the Ciampac basin, easily accessible by cable car from Alba. The view from the terrace will captivate you. Then wait to cross the entrance, where you are greeted by the sympathy of the owners. The interior rooms are very well cared for, warm and furnished in wood as the Alpine tradition requires. If you delay getting back into town, don't worry! The hotel has five rooms and a spa for deep relaxation. In winter, you can immediately go skiing and follow the Panorama skitour, towards Buffaure, or the legendary Sellaronda. The kitchen, with self-service in winter, offers the specialities of the area, as well as more classic proposals that also satisfy children. The most popular dishes? Trio of canederli, eggs/potatoes/speck and, for a quick stop, a sandwich with sausage, cheese - strictly local - and caramelised onion. The refuge is also equipped for disabled guests. The nearby playground is equipped with a special swing on which to swing to enjoy the peace and tranquility that the place can give, interrupted only by the whistle of the groundhogs.
