To reach the refuge, you must climb the cable car from Ronchi, 1.5 km north of Moena in the direction of Passo San Pellegrino.
From the intermediate station take the second trunk of the system until you reach Le Cune, a panoramic balcony that offers a breathtaking view of Moena, the groups of Monzoni, Catinaccio, Latemar, Bocche, Pale di San Martino and Lagorai. In winter it is ideal for a quick break between descents, while in summer you will be glad to stop on your way back from one of the many excursions you can undertake on foot or by mountain bike right in the Lusia area. Children can have fun in the small playground before venturing along the Animal Path that returns to Valbona.
