At the top of Col de Valvacin is El Zedron. Thanks to the Buffaure ski lifts, the mountain hut can be easily reached and is always worth a visit to admire a breathtaking view from its terrace.

In front of the structure stand out: Catinaccio and Sassolungo group, Marmolada, Monzoni and, looking down, you can see the Val San Nicolò. Whether you have skis on your feet or hiking shoes, El Zedron offers many tasty dishes, with genuine and seasonal ingredients, to recover your energy spent outdoors. It is distinguished by an Italian cuisine, with Ladin and vegetarian variants. Among the first, homemade kamut noodles with speck and spinach, polenta dumplings with ragout, soft gnocchi with cheese and rocket pesto are successful. Among the latter, in addition to the traditional eggs with speck and potatoes, hamburgers with chips and other side dishes are excellent. On Fridays you can also find fish specialties. Quickly ready, for those who choose a quick snack, sandwiches, hot and cold. Finally, try the desserts, starting with artisanal ice creams, up to the classic apple strudel with vanilla sauce.

The shelter, which is always open for lunch and dinners only in summer (by reservation only), welcomes pets, even large ones, inside and out.
