Easy walk from Moena to the hamlet of Someda, which is located under the "Piz Meda" mountain (that it owes its name to). It's a typical Ladin aggregate with a panoramic view over the entire town and valley. The walk is suited for sport strollers. In this case, to avoid steps after the bottleneck cross the road and walk on the left hand pavement for some 50 meters. At the crossroad to the Hotel Catinaccio, after the bottleneck cross the street and walk again through Strada de Someda. You can return to Moena by following the same route or comfortably using the ski bus.
Author's advice: To avoid the steps, after passing the bottleneck, follow the pavement on the left for approximately 50 meters. Cross the road near the fork leading to Hotel Catinaccio and rejoin Strada de Someda.
