Sunrise ski mountaineering excursion, organised by La Sportiva, with mountain guide, from the entrance to Val San Nicolò to Buffaure, and breakfast at the mountain hut
Accompanied by a local mountain guide, you will reach Cima Buffaure from Pozza on touring skis to admire the sunrise from one of the most impressive viewpoints in the valley. Before returning to the village, a rich and abundant breakfast at the refuge is a must. There are 4 excursions to participate in organised by La Sportiva:
- Tuesday 18 February – Buffaure Hut (altitude difference 650-metre)
- Tuesday 25 February - Rifugio La Bolp (altitude difference 650-metre)
- Wednesday 12 March - Rifugio Baita Cuz (altitude difference 800-metre)
- Tuesday 18 March - Rifugio El Zedron (altitude difference 900-metre)
Meeting point: by the former electricity plant in Pozza (near the campsite vidor) at 5.45. a.m.
Departure: 6 a.m.
Prices: free excursion. Breakfast is the responsibility of the participants and must be paid for before departure (€ 15, only cash accepted). Activity limited to a maximum of 40 people.
To bring: complete ski mountaineering equipment (skis, safety bindings, boots, sticks, seal skins), headlamp and technical clothing; we recommend a rucksack containing spare parts for the descent. Possibility of renting a headlamp free of charge (to be requested at the time of booking, maximum 15).
