Preview of the Dolomiti Ski Jazz festival with the travelling, circus-style musical performance by the "Banda Storta" ensemble
A music festival tailor-made for mountain and winter sports lovers: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz, from 7 to 16 March, is ready to bring all the harmony of music to skiers and holiday lovers among the snowy landscapes of the Fassa and Fiemme Valleys. Warm rhythms such as jazz but also blues, funk and Latin music create fascinating contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Always a refined combination of nature and open-air music, the Dolomiti Ski Jazz in 2025 celebrates its 27th edition with an expanded formula in the locations hosting the performances of internationally renowned musicians and above all in the number of shows, with over twenty appointments.
The "jazz track" already starts during the Christmas holidays with two sparkling happenings, in Moena, Vigo and Canazei, which anticipate the March festival. On Saturday 4 January from 5 p.m., through the streets of Moena ("Piaz de Sotegrava", "Piaz de Ramon", "Piazzetta Perla Alpina", "L Vial"), the jazz show will be staged by the daring ensemble of musicians "Banda Storta", namely Davide Salata (soprano sax), Emiliano Tamanini (trumpet), Fabrizio Carlin (trombone), Giorgio Beberi (baritone sax), Filippo Tonini (drums and percussion), and Luca Salata (director, actor). Six eclectic minds and souls with a twist that find their balance in arrangements, compositions and gags with circus knowledge and flavour. So don't miss the appointment with "Banda Storta Circus": musical peripeteia, fast-paced gags and laughter are guaranteed!
Free of charge show.
