A snowshoe walk in the Ciampac basin to immerse yourself in the intimate essence of the Dolomites in winter
Alpine guides will take you to the splendid Ciampac basin, at 2160 metres, where winter reveals itself in all its splendour. Ascending by cable car from Alba di Canazei, you will reach the Ciampac ski area and, after a journey of approximately 3 km, you will find yourself immersed in a dreamlike panorama, surrounded only by the majestic Dolomite peaks of di Fassa. Snowshoeing in fresh snow, you will learn to recognise the tracks left by wild animals, as well as the secrets of an alpine environment that changes with the seasons. After this high-altitude experience, lunch in one of the mountain huts in the basin, easily reached on foot, will be your well-deserved reward: a perfect opportunity to taste Trentino and Ladin specialities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Price: € 45 for adults and children (from 10 years). The price includes the activity, guide and return lift ticket. Participants are responsible for hiring snowshoes and poles.
