As is tradition, at the beginning of December, the Music Band of Moena organises a great concert at the "Navalge" Theatre dedicated to the legendary King Laurin. One only has to look at the mountainous profile of Roda di Vael, visible from various points in the village, to imagine him there, as an ancient guardian of Moena. Now in its third year, this special performance will be held in memory of Paolo Chiocchetti, who, with passion and dedication, directed the band from 1982 until May 2010, the year of his sudden death. During the evening, images, tales and anecdotes will come to life through the words of relatives, band members, friends and all those who shared a love for music with him.
Maestro Roberto Silvagni will conduct, with the special participation of Maura Chiocchetti. Admission is free.
