There are two appointments this summer, in two mountain refuges where you can spend the night, and two farmhouses/dairies where you can tend to the cattle at dawn. The reward? The most genuine breakfast of your life.
Nothing will ever be the same after a dawn on an alpine pasture. The sound of a cowbell will be an irresistible call: you'll jump out of bed at 5:30 a.m. in search of a pasture to herd the cattle, longing for a wholesome breakfast, and you'll watcht the first rays of sunlight with adoring eyes. These are some of the "side effects" - the worst being that you'll never want to leave the mountain pasture again - of one of the most authentic adventures you can have in Val di Fassa.
